Emmanuel Guirado has been made the vice president of Carlson Wagonlit's global partners network.
In his new role, he takes on the management of the company's independently owned partners in 110 countries and territories.
Guirado has been with CWT since 2007.
The Frenchman has wide experience in travel management and the travel industry, having worked with Wagons-Lits Tourisme and Havas Voyages.
Carlson Wagonlit said Guirado was "instrumental" in bringing e-commerce to travel.
