Emirates has named former Virgin Atlantic and British Airways executive Luke Goggin VP of global business travel, effective immediately, according to a LinkedIn post from Goggin. He is based in Dubai.
Goggin most recently was Virgin Atlantic VP of global sales from August 2023 to October 2025. Previously he spent nearly 12 years at British Airways, where he was head of UK and Ireland sales and global accounts.
In a separate update, Emirates has added electrically-powered privacy screens in its Premium Economy cabins on newly delivered Airbus A350 aircraft.
The cabin includes 28 seats in a two-three-two configuration, and the privacy screen extends to the full height of the seat, which is 20 inches wide with pitch up to 39 inches. The seats also recline into a cradle position "without intruding on the row behind," according to Emirates.
In addition, the carrier has introduced wireless charging in the Premium Economy cabin, which also has USB-C charging.
