TMC technology provider Element has appointed a former BCD Travel business development executive as its global sales and account development manager.
Vincenzo Marino will lead the tech company’s sales efforts across TMCs and services to corporates. Element’s portfolio of services include Travel Radar, an automated pre-approval tool for offline bookings for TMCs, and the corporate booking platform Zenmer.
Marino also previously worked at start-up Pay Now Fly Later, a fintech payments company that lets consumers spread the cost of their travel over a flexible duration, and visa company Vdash.
Gavin Smith, director of Element, said: “Vincenzo joins us at a time of growth for Element. Our first year has been successful and the time is right to expand our team. His experience at BCD and recent start-ups will help complement our growth strategy and help us get out to the many TMCs who still don’t know about Element.”
