Sofitel names managing director EMEA
Accor has promoted Dominique Colliat to the position of managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for its luxury Sofitel brand.
Ms Colliat began her hotel career managing Accor properties in the Caribbean, France and the UK.
In 1998, Ms Colliat joined Club Méd as operations director for the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos and the Caribbean becoming vp of Club Med North America.
She rejoined Accor in 2007 as operations director for Sofitel France and one year later was appointed managing director for Sofitel Southern Europe and Maghreb.
As Sofitel's MD for the EMEA region, Ms Colliat will manage global brand positioning and deployment.
Ms Colliat will also supervise Sofitel development projects in EMEA including Rabat, Dubai and Vienna.
