Diversity Travel has appointed Ben Slaymaker as systems integration specialist.
Slaymaker’s role with the travel management company, which specialises in the charity and academic sectors, will involve implementing travel systems for clients, providing technical solutions and “streamlining internal and external processes”.
Diversity Travel’s client list includes charities such as Save the Children International, the Salvation Army, Marie Stopes International and ActionAid.
Slaymaker recently returned from New York where he lived and worked for five years, gaining experience in advertising and e-commerce technology, before embarking on a career in the non-profit sector.
Diversity Travel’s managing director Chris Airey, said: “Ben’s experience and sector knowledge really made his CV stand out and his passion for volunteering has given him a deep and unique understanding of our clients and their needs.
“He understands the importance of providing the best possible IT solutions to maximise client budgets and this is an integral part of what we do. We are excited that he has joined the team.”
