Direct Travel has appointed Eoin Landers as director of sales for Europe, as the travel management company looks expand its Spotnana-based Avenir Travel platform across the region.
Landers previously served as chief commercial officer at TripStax and will now lead efforts to grow the Avenir Travel platform in Europe. Before joining TripStax in 2023, he held senior positions at Concur, Amadeus, BCD Travel and Expedia, where he built and scaled SaaS-led solutions for enterprise customers.
Commenting on his new role, Landers said: “I was drawn to Direct Travel by the clarity of its vision. Avenir brings together the technology and service model the industry has been missing, and I’m looking forward to helping organisations across Europe benefit from it.”
His appointment comes shortly after Jess Dunderdale was brought on as UK sales director, part of Direct Travel’s strategy to strengthen its European commercial team following last September’s acquisition of ATPI.
