German travel agency Derpart
has announced a shake-up of its senior leadership team.
Aquilin Schömig, Derpart's
managing director since 2012, and Andreas Neumann, who is responsible for
business travel, finance, IT and consulting, are both leaving the company at
their own request “to take on new professional challenges”.
“We thank Aquilin Schömig and Andreas Neumann for their personal
commitment and their outstanding success. As a franchise system for strong
companies, Derpart is one of the most successful travel sales organizations in
Germany. This success is to be continued under new management,” said Andreas Heimann, chairman of the board, and Werner Papendick, deputy chairman.
The
change should be completed by the beginning of 2022 at the latest, the company
said.
