Jens Sondergaard
The Danish Business Travel Association (DBTA) has appointed Jens Sondergaard as its new general manager.
Sondergaard will take over from Anne Mette Berg, who will be retiring at the end of April from her role leading the DBTA for the more than 10 years.
DBTA’s new general manager has more than 20 years’ experience in the corporate travel industry, including several years as a key account manager at Air France-KLM based in Denmark. Sondergaard has also conducted project management, association management and board work.
In his new role at the DBTA, Sondergaard will prioritise areas such as technology development and sustainability.
DBTA’s chairman Bjork Skieller said: “We are really happy that Jens is joining us. With his experience and professionalism, we will continue DBTA's positive development in the years to come.”
Fellow Nordic business travel association SBTA in Sweden recruited Fredrik Hermelin as its new general manager earlier this month.
