Emirates appoints new UK head
Emirates Airlines has appointed Conrad Clifford as its new vp for the UK and Ireland.
Mr Clifford, 51, a former ceo of Virgin Nigeria, will replace Vic Sheppard who is retiring after 13 years with the Middle East carrier.
Mr Clifford will join Emirates in September after four years with Virgin Nigeria.
In a 28 year career in aviation, he has also worked for Cathay Pacific, Virgin Atlantic and then the Menzies Aviation Group before returning to Virgin to oversee the establishment of Virgin Nigeria.
