Conferma has named Mark Ledsham, who has held senior executive positions across several companies in the finance industry, as its new CEO, succeeding Jason Lalor, the company announced.
Ledsham most recently was COO of global payments platform Currencycloud. He has also served as CEO of online foreign exchange company Xe.com and held senior positions at Euronet Worldwide, OFX, Macquarie Group and Deloitte Australia, according to Conferma.
He now leads Conferma, which is an independent unit owned by Sabre and brings "proven leadership and expertise in scaling growth" to the company, Conferma non-executive chairman Roshan Mendis said in a statement.
In his own statement, Ledsham said he would be "working with the team to expand our reach and impact across the global corporate travel landscape."
Lalor, who has been Conferma's CEO for nearly three years, recently announced his departure from the position on LinkedIn.
