James Faux
Travel data specialist Clarasight has appointed James Faux as strategic accounts director to help the company expand across the UK and EU.
Faux has spent 15 years working in the travel technology sector, most recently with travel and event management platform Troop, and his appointment is part of a wider recruitment drive by Clarasight.
In a statement, Clarasight said that Faux will work with travel, procurement and finance leaders to help them to move from “reactive oversight to Al-native, proactive control”.
Clarasight has recently expanded its services beyond sustainability to bring together data on business travel spending, supplier performance and policy compliance.
Adam Braun, co-founder and CEO of Clarasight, added: “We know that every travel team today is being asked to do more with less. We are thrilled that a leader of James' calibre is joining Clarasight to advise enterprises in building Al readiness that strengthens their corporate travel programmes.”
Clarasight added that it had achieved “10x” growth in 2025 and was now “hiring aggressively” across Europe and North America.
Faux spent more than three years at Troop and previously held roles at Spotnana, Navan (then known as TripActions) and was also at Egencia for 10 years, according to his LinkedIn profile.
“Most enterprise travel programmes are drowning in data but starving for control," said Faux. “Clarasight flips that model by turning fragmented travel data into a unified control plane, with Al continuously interpreting signals and driving action.
“That is what modern operators need, not more dashboards, but trusted and proactive operational intelligence.”
