Travel management company CWT has added three new leadership positions to its finance team.
Jim Shepherd has joined CWT from medical technology supplier Medtronic as senior vice president of corporate finance. Shepherd will lead the TMC’s financial planning and finance business partnerships.
CWT head of strategy, planning and analytics Julia Kou has been named to a newly created role of senior vice president, chief strategy officer, where she will have responsibility for corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic transactions.
In addition, CWT has made permanent the appointment of Lisa Papageorge as vice president treasurer. Papageorge has held this role on an interim basis since joining CWT in February from Service King Collision Repairs.
All appointments are effective immediately and all three will report to CWT’s chief financial officer Bill Courtney.
“We’re extremely proud to have such immensely talented and experienced leaders, who individually and collectively bring a powerful dynamic to our organisation, as we continue to execute on our growth initiatives, scale our operations and uphold our leadership position in the business travel sector,” said Courtney.
CWT this week also announced a change in its top leadership, with president and chief commercial officer Patrick Andersen stepping up to the CEO role upon the departure of CEO Michelle McKinney Frymire on 1 May.
