Carlson Wagonlit Travel has appointed two global VPs to give a digital boost to its customer experience.
Jared Anderson has been named its new vice president of customer experience and Sophie Hulgard as vice president, global programme management, EMEA to support its digital transformation.
Joining from US retail company Sears, Anderson will work closely with the customer, technology, and traveller services teams. “Jared has a passion for research and customer insights, and a track record of delivering results,” said Patrick Andersen, EVP & chief strategy and commerce officer. “As we roll out our digital transformation, it is vital that we listen to our customers – and focus on their success.”
Jared has spent the last 15 years in senior leadership roles, most recently as VP of Customer Experience Insight and Engagement at Sears. At Sears, he was responsible for enterprise-wide customer experience management and strategy, including research, improvement, communication, tracking, measurement, and strategy.
Sophie Hulgard is based in Paris, where she will manage the relationship with CWT’s global clients based in Europe. “CWT’s mission is to be the world’s first digital travel management company,” said Cathy Voss, EVP global programme solutions. “Sophie’s expertise and enthusiasm will ensure we provide the best possible service to our clients as our digital transformation gathers pace and delivers them more and more value.”
Hulgard takes over from Brigitte Nisio, who has been appointed country director for France.
