Darren Toohey
Corporate Travel Management has appointed Darren Toohey to the newly created role of chief sales and customer officer.
Toohey, who is based in Phoenix in the US, joins CTM after spending some 16 years at rival travel management company CWT, where he was most recently head of global sales and customer retention.
In his new role, Toohey will be “instrumental in advancing” Australia-based CTM’s five-year growth strategy, which will be focused on acquiring new customers and “delivering enhanced value” to clients through its technology, services and partnerships.
Toohey said: “As customer expectations continue to evolve and innovation reshapes business travel programmes, my focus will be on empowering our sales and account management teams to provide highly tailored, impactful solutions to our customers around the globe.
“By forging strong partnerships, exploring new opportunities and utilising data-driven insights, I am committed to elevating CTM’s reputation as the go-to travel management company for exceeding customer expectations."

CTM was ranked as the seventh largest TMC in Europe in the list of Europe’s Leading TMCs 2024.
