Paul Venneker
Disruption management and ground transport specialist CMAC Group has appointed Paul Venneker as business development manager for the Benelux region.
The UK-based company said it had recruited Venneker to “strengthen its regional presence” after acquiring Dutch business Airline Services & Accommodation Partner (AS&AP) in 2023.
Venneker has worked in the travel and aviation industry for 35 years, which has included senior roles at Malaysia Airlines and Jet Airways.
Wim Kanon, managing director of AS&AP, said: “Paul has built a strong reputation for exceptional client service, with deep industry knowledge and proven management of handling incidents including delays, diversions and cancellations.
“We’re delighted to have him join us at CMAC Group. His understanding of the Benelux market will be invaluable as we continue to serve new and existing customers in the region.”
In his new role, Venneker will work closely with CMAC’s team based at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, where it serves more than 30 airlines and handling agents.
“I’m excited to contribute to the company’s ongoing growth across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg,” said Venneker.
“Having supported organisations during challenging and distressing situations, I know how important it is for clients to have a trusted partner who can respond quickly and with care.”
