Anne Mette Berg
Anne Mette Berg is to retire from her position as general manager of the Danish Business Travel Association (DBTA).
Berg, who has held the role for the past 10 years, will step down from the DBTA in spring 2023.
She said: “Being a figurehead of DBTA has been a fantastic job. In co-operation with the changing boards of directors, we have developed DBTA over the last 10 years to be a strong and relevant network for both buyer and supplier members.
“The business travel industry is in constant development and there is a need for cross-functional collaboration like never before. But for me it is time to slow down a bit and travel to some of the places that have not yet been visited.”
DBTA’s board thanked Berg for her “fantastic commitment and excellent results over the years”.
“We are and have always been incredibly happy for her positive and inquisitive mind, and her great joy in sharing knowledge and always being one step ahead in relation to trends,” said the board in a statement.
The association, which is a member of the new European business travel group BT4Europe, said it would soon begin the process of recruiting a new general manager to take over from Berg. DBTA currently has 120 buyer and supplier members from across Denmark.
