Travel and meetings engagement agency Festive Road has made two key appointments.
Joseph Bates and Aurelie Krau (pictured) have joined existing partners, Caroline Strachan and Paul Tilstone, as formal associates with specialty areas of expertise.
Bates joins after fulfilling a role as vice president of research and strategic initiatives for the GBTA Foundation for the last six years. He is based in Washington DC and Beijing and will represent Festive Road in the USA and China, specialising in qualitative and quantitative research projects and white papers for the agency.
Krau, who was recently listed as “one to watch” in the Buying Business Travel’s hotlist 2016, specialises in NextGen travellers, technology and mobile. She supported Festive Road’s work for IATA during 2015 and will represent the agency from Paris, France.
Talking about the additions to the team, managing partner Paul Tilstone said, “We’d like to welcome Aurelie and Joe as our first associates to support the work we are doing across the buyers and supplier community. They represent exactly the type of people we will be attracting to the agency from across the world. They are talented, have global perspectives, great knowledge and an informed opinion on our industry."
