Michele Lawley
BCD Travel has named Michele Lawley as the TMC’s new president for the Europe region.
Lawley, who is currently senior vice president, Europe for BCD, will take over from current European president Mike Walley from 31 August.
Walley is leaving his position to join the board of Boron, the family company of BCD Group founder John Fentener van Vlissingen. He will also continue in his role as president of BCD Media & Entertainment.
In her new role, Lawley will take over operational and financial responsibility for BCD’s activities in Europe. She will be based in London and report to BCD president and CEO John Snyder as a member of the TMC’s global executive team.
Snyder added: “Michele has been a driving force for many years in our commitment to driving innovation in our clients’ programs and efficiency within our own organisation.
“I’m delighted to welcome her to BCD’s global executive team and I’m confident that our diverse, complex European region will thrive under her leadership.”
