Edoardo Priori has been named managing director of BCD Travel Italy after six months as acting MD.
Priori will continue to oversee the operational and financial management of the TMC’s Italy business, where the company manages travel for more than 450 clients, including Banca d'Italia, GEA Group, Carrefour, Fosber and Teamsystem.
In his new role Priori will manage the TMC’s 330 Italian staff across five offices – in Milan, Turin, Treviso, Firenze and Chieti in Abruzzo – and report to Joanna Greenfield, senior vice president, Europe, who oversees Italy, France, Benelux, UK, Ireland and the TMC’s European Service Centre.
After a decade in the legal sector, Priori joined BCD as legal counsel in 2018.
In September 2022, he was appointed acting managing director for Italy, where he focused on customer retention and acquisition.
In the last six months he has also been credited with introducing the TMC’s suite of global technological solutions to Italian customers.
