CWT creates new president role
Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has appointed Andrew Winterton to the newly created position of president, suppliers, products and technology, effective 1 June.
Based in the United Kingdom, he will report to CWT president and ceo Douglas Anderson. Mr Winterton will be a member of the company's global executive team.
Mr Winterton, 44, will replace Mike Koetting, who was executive vp of global supplier management before recently being named chief operating officer, CWT North America.
In his new position, Mr Koetting remains a member of the CWT global executive team. He succeeds Loren Brown, coo and executive vp, technology and product management, who will leave CWT in July to pursue new interests.
Mr Winterton has more than 20 years' experience in travel and distribution. In his most recent position, he was senior vp, global supplier relations and travel services network International, and general manager, Latin America, for American Express Business Travel.
