In response to extra demand, the US National Business Travel Association (NBTA) has extended capacity for its inaugural financial forum by 50%. A Wall Street Look at the Business of Business Travel will be held on March 26, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza, Times Square in New York.
”When we first looked at the market for the inaugural Business Travel Financial Forum, we hoped to bring in at least 150 people,” explained NBTA president and CEO Suzanne Fletcher. ”When we closed registration at 175, we started getting calls from people who still wanted to register.
”We are thrilled that we had the flexibility with the Crowne Plaza Times Square to expand our capacity, and we are now welcoming additional registrations - up to 225 attendees.”
Almost half of those signed up work as travel managers, and NBTA has collected a number of Wall Street analysts and industry professionals to discuss the economic outlook for the air and hotel sectors, as well as the future of global travel services.
Speakers at the event include representatives from Sabre Holdings, Merrill Lynch Lodging Group, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Smith Travel Research and the Air Transport Association of America, to name but a few.
