Leading figures in European business travel will be among the speakers at the Business Travel Days event at the ITB travel show in Berlin in March.
Held over four days from March 7 to March 10, the Travel Days programme will feature seminars, workshops and panel discussions.
The opening keynote speech will be made at the opening session on March 7 by Dr. Adrian von Dörnberg, an expert on travel and tourism, on Travel Managers - The Hidden Champions.
Hans Doldi, vp of the DRV, Germany's association for travel agents, will talk about its training programme for 2007.
Other speakers include Hank Roeder, vp domestic and global operations for America's National Business Travel Association (NBTA), Kirsi Hyvärinen, a project leader at consultants BearingPoint, who carries out an annual survey of the German business travel market and Wolfgang Strasser, director client management for HRG Germany.
Mr Roeder will speak on business travel and the role of agencies in Europe and also take part in a panel discussion on the business travel market in the USA.
Ms Hyvärinen will speak on the German business travel markey and Mr Strasser will be part of a panel discussion on the value of loyalty and air miles programmes.
There will also be discussions on the state of the emerging markets in India and Poland and a talk on the range of low cost airlines in Germany.
