A 1400-acre resort in south Wales is attempting to bribe conference organisers with a pair of designer shoes.
The Celtic Manor Resort is offering Christian Louboutin-designed footwear to anyone who books an event worth more than £100,000 before March 2011.
The 2010 Ryder Cup host has 400 bedrooms, a convention centre with capacity for up to1500 people, and three championship golf courses.
There are also six restaurants, including fine dining restaurant The Crown – a nice option for showing off those new celebrity-endorsed stilettos.
Jill Manley, Celtic Manor’s business development director, said: “Christian Louboutin shoes are a must-have accessory and we think their designer style is a great fit with the Celtic Manor brand.”
She said the resort had its “busiest time ever” after the Ryder Cup, and is hoping the Louboutins offer will encourage bookings to continue into the new year.
“We very much appreciate the work put in by conference bookers and it’s nice to be able to offer these beautiful designer shoes as a thank you,” she added.
A £750 Christian Louboutin voucher will be given for each confirmed contract of more than £100,000 booked between 1st December 2010 and 31st March 2011.
To book, call the Events team on 01633 410252.
