InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) will hold its inaugural Travel Agency Awards on 26 April 2007, at the InterContinental London Park Lane. IHG has introduced the awards to recognise the teams and individuals who have given the most contribution to the hotel industry over the past year.
There will be seven award categories: Agency Account Manager / Director of the Year; Conference & Incentive Agency of the Year; Agency Booking Team of the Year; Business Travel Agency of the year; Best Agency Supplier Relations; Aspirations (one of two IHG agent clubs, for smaller independent agencies) Agent of the Year; and overall Agency of the Year.
Nominations are now being gathered from the company”s global sales directors and IHG hotels across EMEA, with a final judging panel comprising senior representatives from IHG”s key franchise partners.
”The IHG Agency Awards gives us the opportunity to recognise the invaluable contribution our Agency Partners make to our business,” said IHG vice-president sales and marketing, William Morris.
