GULF AIR'S dramatic progress continues with a number of initiatives and the award from the Centre of Pacific Aviation of the prestigious Airline Turnaround of the Year award. In the UK the Bahrain based carrier has teamed up with Burgundy Global to offer a courtesy chauffer service for the airline”s London originating first and business class passengers starting their journey within 50 miles of Heathrow. At the airport passengers use the ”Park Avenue” facility kerbside check-in facility. Passengers in the premium classes making their own way to the airport can also use this service which completely bypasses the usually very busy T3.
