‘Travel Agents Day' returns to ATM 2009
Following in the success of the inaugural Travel Agents day at Arabian Travel Market 2008, Reed Travel Exhibitions will be including the day within the schedule of events for the 2009 exhibition, therefore helping agents to stay ahead of the game.
Travel Agent's Day takes place on Thursday 7th May, during which agents have the opportunity to meet exhibitors and explore destinations as well as learn about new products and services.
The day provides attendees with the latest top class travel and tourism education, combining skills, learning, product knowledge and great competitions. Attendance of Arabian Travel Market's Travel Agent Day is highly recommended in order to put themselves ahead of the game in this hugely popular and competitive industry.
An extremely productive element of the day, that are new to 2009 are the Destination Briefings that take place on the Travel Agents Stage within the exhibition. These briefings provide a platform for destinations to showcase their brand to a key audience.
An aspect of fun competitiveness is provided by the Travel Agents Day Passport scheme where agents are provided with a mock passport and can win prizes by visiting exhibitor's stands and answering questions. The day will culminate with an award presentation on the ‘Travel Agents Stage'.
Simon Press, Arabian Travel Market Exhibition Director said, "Travel Agent's Day proved to be a huge success in its first year, we had over 3,000 agents through the door and the feedback from both attendees and exhibitors was extremely positive. Due to popular demand we are repeating the event in 2009 and hope to welcome even more travel agents and provide them with an invaluable tool with which to increase their knowledge of, and contacts within the industry."
Registration for Travel Agent's day is free of charge. A timetable of events will be available on-line at www.arabiantravelmarket.com/travelagentsday in January 2009.
Arabian Travel Market is exhibiting at World Travel Market, booth 39 on the Dubai stand (ME2000).
