Business Traveller magazine held its prestigious annual awards ceremony at the London Hilton last week with Airline of the Year going to British Airways, Hilton themselves picking up a whole cluster of awards and Heathrow with its huge number of international destinations taking the airport trophy. The Countess of Wessex gave a special award to Chris Friend, a blind man who travels frequently around the world on his own representing the charity Sight Savers. The chosen charity for this year's awards was Vision 20/20, of which the Countess is patron.
