Singapore has lifted its remaining Covid-19 travel restrictions from Monday (13 February) after the health situation “stabilised” in recent weeks.
The country’s government said that non-fully vaccinated travellers no longer have to show proof of a negative pre-departure Covid test on arrival. The requirement to purchase Covid travel insurance has also been removed.
The changes have been made due to the lower number of people being admitted to hospital in Singapore so far this year, with the population now having “a high level of immunity from severe Covid-19”.
Rules requiring all passengers to wear masks while travelling on public transport in Singapore have also been lifted from 13 February.
Singapore ended its requirement for unvaccinated travellers to go through a seven-day quarantine period in August 2022.
