JTB Business Travel is partnering with risk management platform Safeture to enhance its risk management offer to clients.
The deal will see existing clients migrate to Safeture’s technology platform, however the companies did not provide a date for the transition.
JTB Business Travel – which is based in the United States but has a presence in 11 European markets – says the new partnership will “create significant value for existing and new clients” and that it signifies “a step forward” in technology-driven services that prioritise traveller safety.
Safeture's platform provides a real-time overview of incidents with a risk map and custom alerts. It also offers travel risk assessments and traveller communication tools.
JTB Business Travel’s VP of global business travel, Geert de Boo, said the partnership with Sweden-based Safeture “enhances our duty of care offerings”. The two companies, in a statement, said the collaboration will "set a new benchmark in the industry” for risk management services.
