Hotel solutions provider HRS has signed a five-year
extension to its partnership with travel and expense management technology
company SAP Concur, bringing hotel content and payment solutions to clients.
According to HRS, the partnership provides corporate clients
with payment and invoice reconciliation tools and broad but targeted content
options through its “Lodging-as-a-Service” platform, which is available to SAP
Concur clients via desktop or mobile devices. The platform features a
multi-source booking option that includes HRS’ Rate Filter technology, which
eliminates erroneous rates, the AI-powered Recommendation Engine, the Rebooking
solution, which uses automation to seek out post-booking rate savings from all hotel
content sources, universal enablement of hotel loyalty programmes and HRS’
proprietary end-to-end solutions, such as procurement, booking, payment and
invoice collection.
HRS said its technology is boosting centralised payment and
the use of virtual credit cards – something clients said will be a key
component to getting travellers back on the road during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The company claims it has enabled a 95 per cent acceptance rate of virtual
cards with hotels worldwide.
The firm’s booking platform also now includes information
about hotels’ safety and cleaning protocols, with properties that are certified
under the new Clean & Safe Protocol labelled within the platform. HRS said
Concur Travel is one of the first tools to accommodate the labels.
