Corporate Traveller has launched a new SME Travel Toolkit designed to help the owners of small businesses to resume travelling and adapt to the post-pandemic “new normal”.
The SME specialist has created a 10-part series, which will be shared with clients each month. It will aim to tackle the most pressing concerns for SMEs, as well as looking at the “myths” about managed travel programmes.
Corporate Traveller, which is part of the Flight Centre Travel Group, said it had already seen a “positive trajectory” for travel bookings, which rose by 60 per cent in the first 25 days of January compared with the previous month.
Andy Hegley, Corporate Traveller’s UK general manager, said: “Travel today can be an overwhelming experience. The world has changed, which for budget conscious SMEs, has created a more confusing environment, especially for those who previously handled their own travel and simply don’t know where to start.”
“With restrictions easing in the UK and around the world, the desire to travel and connect face-to-face has increased for businesses, as have the complications.
“Through our new SME Travel Toolkit, we have set out to share our deep industry knowledge to help small business owners decide how to plan and travel easily and safely.”
The toolkit will offer a range of guidance covering subjects such as creating a travel policy, securing the best rates, controlling and tracking travel spend, as well as keeping travellers safe.
