Clarity Travel Management is focusing on risk assessment and safety as clients prepare for the return of corporate travel after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Guided by client input and traveller surveys, Clarity has implemented several new features designed to support organisations' post-pandemic travel operations, the UK-based TMC says.
Key among those measures are incorporating ATPCO Routehappy's Reassurance Universal Product Attributes (UPAs), which display standardised information on around 100 airlines' Covid-related safety procedures, such as clean air circulation, flexible booking options and enhanced cabin cleaning.
Clarity also has rolled out a number of risk assessment tools that can be integrated into booking flows, ranging from mandatory pre-trip approvals to notification pop-ups.
Such features are designed to fulfil an increased demand among Clarity's clients for risk assessment and management tools – 65 per cent of respondents in a recent client survey cited that as an area of emphasis moving forward.
Meanwhile, the TMC has also added a hotel accreditation feature to identify properties that meet criteria within booking tools via icons and information boxes that detail the extra safety measures in place.
“We’ve taken onboard significant feedback from clients and used that to shape our processes going forward," says Clarity CEO Pat McDonagh.
"Reassurance UPAs, hotel accreditation and risk approval are just the beginning of a number of initiatives that we’ve been implementing" to help clients navigate the post-Covid travel landscape, he adds.
