United Airlines will increase its services to London next month to a total of six daily flights, the carrier has announced.
The increase includes a second daily flight from Washington, DC, and bumping up current services from Houston to daily. Further expansion will follow in the coming months, including a new nonstop service from Boston, according to United.
United's announcement coincides with the announcement from UK government officials that fully vaccinated US travellers can visit England without quarantine beginning 2 Augist. In addition to being fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the US Food and Drug Administration, travellers will need to take a PCR test for Covid-19 both prior to departure and within the first two days of arrival.
