European carrier Swiss will introduce a new non-stop service from Zurich to Seoul from 7 May.
The new service will operate three times weekly on Airbus A340 aircraft as part of the carrier’s expanded summer 2024 schedule.
Flights from Zurich depart at 13:40 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and land in the South Korean capital at 08:25 the following day. Return flights from Seoul depart at 09:55 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and arrive in Zurich at 16:50.
The new connection to Seoul, the first in the carrier’s history, comes as Swiss looks to grow its long-haul network, recently introducing new intercontinental flights to Washington, DC and Toronto.
Swiss chief commercial officer Heike Birlenbach, said: “We are delighted to be further growing our network... The capital of South Korea has a lot to offer leisure and business travellers alike. And our new Seoul service will help us even better meet our customers’ needs for non-stop services to and from the world’s key cities.”
