Stansted airport has announced an increase in charges to use its drop-off zone.
From June 1, the ‘Express Set Down’ tariff is rising by 50p to £3 for 10 minutes and anyone exceeding this limit will be subject to a £50 fine.
The airport also warned that any unattended vehicles would be towed.
Stansted Airport said the charges would reduce congestion in the drop-off area, and all set-down users should be able to exit within the 10-minute period.
It added the changes were part of an annual price review.
