Ryanair expects to carry 105 million passengers this year after raising its full-year traffic forecast.
The budget carrier said it will carry 16 per cent more passengers than last year’s 90.6 million.
Passenger numbers for September jumped 13 per cent from the same period in 2014 to 58.1 million.
The airline said millions of customers switched to Ryanair for its Always Getting Better customer experience programme - a result of its decision to improve its image.
Ryanair’s profits were helped by a “bumper summer” with half-year profits soaring 37 per cent.
