Norwegian plans to double the number of flights it operates between Gatwick and Gothenburg for the winter 2015/16 season.
The low-cost carrier currently operates six services per week - every day except Saturday - between the two airports.
This will increase to a 12-weekly operation from October 25, with two flights each day apart from Saturdays.
From Monday to Friday, the outbound services will depart Gothenburg at 07.25 and 18.10 and arrive at Gatwick at 08.25 and 19.10 respectively. The return services will leave Gatwick at 08.55 and 19.40, landing in Gothenburg at 11.45 and 22.30.
Outbound flights on Sundays will depart Gothenburg at 08.15 and 19.10, arriving in London at 09.15 and 20.10 respectively. The return services will leave Gatwick at 09.45 and 20.40, landing in Gothenburg at 12.35 and 23.30.
The extra flights will be operated by new 186-seat B737-800 aircraft with free wifi.
Norwegian's commercial director Thomas Ramdahl said: “We are pleased to offer additional departures to Gothenburg with all the benefits of our low fares, quality service and free wifi so you can stay in touch, on the go.”
Norwegian will begin a daily B787 service between Gatwick and New York JFK on October 25.
