NEWCASTLE AIRPORT is to become easyJet's fourth UK regional base with two aircraft to be based at NCL for next summer, rising to four in 2004. In a sense the airline is already established at the airport with GO, a brand owned by easyJet, and soon to disappear, already operating services to Stansted. These go up from two to four round tips with effect from today. easyJet plan to announce in December the destinations to be served from spring 2003.
