Lufthansa carried a record 107.7 million passengers last year, according to its annual traffic figures.
The German airline increased passenger numbers by 1.6 per cent on the previous year, as well as operating more than one million flights and achieving its highest ever seat load factor of 80.4 per cent.
The Lufthansa Group invested heavily throughout the past few years. As part of this, 17 new aircraft were taken into service by the Lufthansa Group in 2015.
