Iran has signed a deal worth $25 billion for the purchase of 118 Airbus aircraft.
The deal, one of the biggest since economic sanctions against the country were lifted, was signed during a visit by Iranian president Hassan Rouhani who met with French president François Hollande.
The deal sees Iran purchase 73 widebody and 45 single aisle aircraft, as well as pilot and maintenance training and support services.
It follows the removal of economic sanctions against the country earlier this month after the signing of an international deal on the future of its nuclear programme.
