Hotels.com has launched an online booking platform that allows airlines and travel companies to ‘white-label’ or co-brand with the accommodation site.
The deal means partners will have access to Hotels.com’s list of hotel rates and availabilities, which owner Expedia claims will increase loyalty and traveller spend.
Hotels.com for Partners means travellers will be able to access thousands of hotels located in the partner’s key destinations.
Customers will be able to access hundreds of thousands of high quality, competitively priced hotels located in the partner’s key destinations, with great deals and package rates for consumers who have made a flight booking.
One partner that has been trialling Hotels.com for Partners is Switzerland’s national airline, SWISS.
“We are delighted to be working with [owner] Expedia and using their Hotels.com for Partners technology. We are always working hard to improve our accommodation offering, and the platform offers tried and tested options that we know appeal to our customer base,” said Parand Rohani, senior manager, head of online sales development at Swiss.
