Emirates will operate a double-daily A380 service between Moscow and Dubai from August this year.
The Gulf carrier currently flies a superjumbo and a B777-300ER to the Russian capital each day. This will be replaced by a second A380, which is set to increase seat capacity on the route by 15%.
The service will leave Dubai at 0935 and arrives at Moscow Domodedovo Airport at 1455. The return service will leave Moscow at 1755 landing at Dubai International Airport at 2255.
Thierry Antinori, Emirates' executive vice president and chief commercial officer, said: "This second aircraft upgrade will help us meet the ever increasing demand, giving many more travellers the chance to experience our flagship A380 aircraft and all its comforts and features.
"Operating Moscow to Dubai now as a full A380 route reflects the strength of our commitment to this strategic market and opens up a wealth of choice for passengers travelling from Domodedovo to visit or revisit Dubai.
"Connecting through our efficient Dubai hub, more than a dozen Emirates destinations in the Far East, Australia and the Indian Ocean Islands including rich variety of cities like Bangkok, Singapore, Sydney and Mauritius can be reached enjoying the A380 experience all the way."
