A new organisational plan aimed at bringing CSA Czech Airlines into profit by 2008 has been submitted to the carrier's board of trustees
One of the main points of the plan is to separate the marketing and sales division into two separate departments.
Jaroslav Štpánek, currently executive director of sales, has been appointed the new, temporary head of the "key" sales division from May 1.
Marie Macounová, who has been with CSA for more than 30 years, working most recently in sales and marketing, has been appointed vp of the new marketing and product development division, also from May 1.
Jan Vána, executive director of the strategic planning and development department which will disappear under the shake-up, will "terminate his position on May 31."
Marcela Hrdá, vp for marketing and sales, will be moved to a different position in the airline.
Radomír Lašák, who took over the presidency of the company in January, said the previous management plan had been abandoned after it forecast a profit of €18m which turned out to be a loss of €17m.
The new plan and its re-organisation, which CSA described as "highly ambitious, realistic and achievable", are aimed at reaching a turn around by 2008.
