At least 26 people have been killed in Brussels following explosions at Zaventem airport and the city’s metro station.
All flights to and from Zaventem airport have been suspended as well as all rail traffic.
The metro service has been closed and Eurostar has confirmed all services to and from Brussels have been suspended.
The cause of the explosions is yet unclear but Belgium authorities have confirmed 15 people died in the Maelbeek metro blast and 13 at the airport.
Belgium has now raised its terror threat to its highest level.
The blasts occurred four days after the arrest in Brussels of a suspected participant in November militant attacks in Paris that killed 130 people.
