British Airways has announced it will operate a service to Vienna from Gatwick later this year.
Starting on September 17, the airline will offer six flights a week to the Austrian capital using an A320 aircraft.
The route will operate from Gatwick every day except Saturday until the start of the winter schedule in October when it will move to a four-times weekly service – Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The service will depart Gatwick at 16:00 and arrive in Vienna at 19:10 (local time). The return service will depart Vienna at 20:00 and arrive in London at 22:30.
Earlier this month, BA announced it was expanding its luggage concierge service to all passengers arriving at London City on any domestic flight.
The airline has teamed up with AirPortr to offer the "Carousel Collection" facility, which it has been trialling among Executive Club members on flights into LCY from Edinburgh and Glasgow.
