British Airways has reopened its Concorde Rooms at London Heathrow Terminal 5 and New York JFK airport in the latest phase of its lounge reopening programme.
The Concorde Rooms, for BA passengers flying in First, have been closed since March 2020.
Enhancements include a new cocktail menu featuring drinks created in honour of British Airways’ first ever pilot, Bill Lawford, and its first female pilot, Lynne Barton.
Passengers will continue to receive table service but visitors to other lounges can also now use a digital ‘Your Menu’ service.
Tom Stevens, British Airways’ director of brand and customer experience, said: “As we start to gradually welcome back customers, we want to ensure that they have the best experience possible with British Airways.
“We are looking at every element of the customer experience, from sleep pods and signatures cocktails in our newly reopened lounges, to roast dinners onboard and additional benefits for our card holders – we want flying with British Airways to be memorable.
“Our teams will continue to innovate, and we look forward to sharing more exciting developments with our customers over the coming months.”
