Air France is increasing the number of flights it operates to Panama from three to four weekly and to five weekly from October.
The extra flight between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Panama City will start from this summer before increasing capacity to five weekly flights from October and for the entire 2014 winter season.
Starting October 27, flights to and from Panama City will operate Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The flight will leave Paris at 13:30 local time and arrive in Panama City at 17:30 the same day. The return journey will depart Panama City at 20:45 and arrive in Paris at 14:25 the following day.
Air France’s EVP commercial sales and marketing, Patrick Alexandre, said: “After several months of successful operations on this route, we are proud to be strengthening our presence by increasing our flight frequencies, therefore meeting the demand of our customers in Europe, Panama and Central America.”
Last week Air France launched a new three weekly service to Brasilia, its third destination in Brazil after Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.
The new route results directly from the exclusive code share agreement between Air France and Brazilian airline GOL. The flights depart from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport will depart on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and will be operated by a Boeing 777-200.
