Air France-KLM has said the recent attacks in Paris “significantly impacted” its passenger traffic in November and cost the airline around €50 million in lost revenue.
Before the attacks passenger numbers were higher than the same period last year, but then fell below that level.
“Current booking trends are in line with a progressive recovery including a very limited impact on volumes after the end of December 2015,” Air France-KLM said in its monthly traffic updates.
New routes
Air France-KLM also announced it will add routes from Paris Orly to New York JFK and from Paris Charles De Gaulle to Tehran next year.
The carrier will fly a B777-200 daily on the JFK route and three-times weekly to Tehran (aircraft unconfirmed). Both services start in June.
