Air Astana will resume direct flights from London Heathrow to Kazakhstan's capital Nur-Sultan from 18 September.
The service was paused in April 2020 soon after the Covid-19 pandemic reached Europe.
Flights will operate initially on Saturdays and Wednesdays using Airbus A321LR aircraft with 150 seats in economy (with 33-inch pitch) and 16 lie-flat seats (extending to 78 inches) in business class. The premium cabin is largely configured with rows of 2-2 seating but with new 1-1 'throne' seats with greater privacy in rows two and four.
The journey time is six hours and 30 minutes from London to Nur-Sultan and seven hours and 15 minutes in the opposite direction.
Return fares in economy start from £511 including taxes.
Passengers travelling to Kazakhstan must present a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to entering the country.
