Aparthotel operator Staycity Group is set to open a new property in the La Defense area of Paris as the brand continues to expand in France.
The Dublin-based company is due to unveil its sixth aparthotel in France on 13 June with Staycity Paris La Defense offering 215 studios and one-bedroom units, which can sleep up to four people.
The property located in one of Paris’ major international business districts also features a cafe, gym, guest laundry and 24-hour reception.
Jason Delany, Staycity’s director of brand, product and marketing, said: “France is a key destination for Staycity and La Defense joins our existing Parisian properties in Gare de l’Est and Marne la Vallee and outside the capital in Bordeaux, Marseille and Lyon.
“Next year we will open at Charles de Gaulle airport giving our guests a fantastic choice of Staycity destinations across France.”
Staycity has already opened new aparthotels in Manchester, Frankfurt and Dublin this year, with two more properties in the Irish capital due to open during 2022. The brand will have more than 5,500 apartments by the end of the year.
Openings planned for 2023 include new properties in London and Paris, as well as sites under development in Germany, Portugal and the UK.
